Income eligibility is determined by income and household size and is based on the Federal Poverty Level.
Standard Applicants
To meet the income qualification for the standard applicant voucher, your household income cannot be over 400% of the Federal Poverty Level.

If selected standard applicants must submit ONE of the following approved documents.
The first page of your Federal Tax Return Form 1040 (2024) or the first two pages of your Federal Tax return Form 1040-SR (2024). Please black out your SSN. Adjusted Gross Income (line 11) will be used to make the determination.
Proof of enrollment in any one of the following programs dated within the last year:

Massachusetts Low Income Home Energy Assistance – (LIHEAP)
Massachusetts Low Income Weather Assistance Program

Example: There are 3 people in your household. Your household income would need to be below $106,600.00 to be eligible for the Standard Voucher.
Enhanced Applicants
To meet the income qualification of the Enhanced Voucher, your household income needs to be below 225% of the FPL.

Those applicants seeking an adaptive E-Bike are also eligible for the Enhanced Voucher and will submit a letter from a medical professional as documentation.
